Wayne Real is an ABU fan of very long standing and loves collecting the pre 1980's reels, rods, lures etc. After much searching, and during the height of the US hurricane season, Wayne persuaded Mike, an American collector to sell him a very special ABU reel.

Over the years, Wayne's son Fintan, an internationally awarded webpage designer, has helped his father with website design. After hearing Wayne talk about a new website for months, Fintan secretly bought and designed Wayne's website as a gift for his father.  Fintan is currently employed by the Central Queensland University as the Business and Law Faculty as a web designer and information miner. His workplace is very supportive of Fintan who is a man affected by DMD.

Now Mike, the American collector who agreed that Wayne was the rightful owner of his ABU reel, found out about Fintan's involvement in Wayne's website and revised the selling price to include a donation for a Duchenne organization of Wayne & Anne's choice.
