On July 16th 2006, PPA exhibited at Fogerty Park, Cairns to celebrate Disability Action Week.  Chris Roberts and Deb Robins manned the display which nestled between legal advisory and mental health services.

Doug Robins assisted with the printing and laminating of our static display about the goals and achievements of PPA, but on the day his duties rested with the DSQ display. Other items featured in our display were: Cough assist machine, Laura's Choice DVD, Giving a Face to Duchenne DVD, Cough assist CD presentation and The Ripple Effect book. We distributed our PPA pamphlet to interested persons.

Although the day was marred by persistant drizzle and overcast conditions, a good size crowd came to watch Dorothy the Dinosaur and James Blundell perform. As a result we found ourselves explaining about both Duchenne and PPA to a steady stream of fellow exhibitors and the general public.
