CAIRNS UKULELE FESTIVAL JULY 2-4 2010
The Cairns Ukulele Festival, July 2-4 2010, have unofficially adopted Duchenne Foundation. Playing on the program will be geneticist, Peter Taylor, whose work encompasses NSW & national diagnostics for Duchenne patients in NSW.

CD Launch
We are very excited about the international launch of our "The Song Remains" CD . The CD is the brainchild of the Ukulele Underground. It will feature artists from across the globe. UKULELE ART EXHIBITION OPENS JUNE 25
The Duchenne Foundation, with the support of the Cairns Music Club, are auctioning ukuleles painted by prominent Australian artists and illustrators, to raise funds for Duchenne Research in Australia. Find out about the opening and view nearly 50 ukuleles recreated by some our talented and compassonate artists. Place your bid early by visiting the Cairns Regional Gallery .

RAFFLE: Signed Ukulele from Hawaii
Lastly we are privileged to be raffling Jake Shimabukuro’s brand new, signed MIGM Ukulele, released in May. Tickets can be purchased prior to the festival but they will be on sale at our booth on the Esplanade July 3rd. The winner must be present to claim the prize - 3.30pm Cairns Esplanade, July 3rd.
